CapCut Pro is the most popular video editing app in the world right now, driven heavily by its deep integration with TikTok. However, because it's available on almost every platform known to man, figuring out where you actually subscribed can cause massive headaches when it comes to cancel.

Method 1: Canceling on iPhone or iPad

Apple App Store

If you subscribed on an iOS device, ByteDance (CapCut's parent company) does not have your credit card. Apple does. You must cancel through Apple.

1

Open the Settings App

Open the primary "Settings" app on your iPhone (the gray gear icon).

2

Tap Your Name

Tap your Apple ID name at the top of the screen to open Apple ID settings.

3

Cancel Subscription

Tap Subscriptions. Tap CapCut in your active list, then tap the red Cancel Subscription button.

Method 2: Canceling on Android

Google Play Store

If you subscribed on a Samsung, Pixel, or other Android device, Google handles your monthly billing.

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your phone.
  2. Tap your circular Profile Icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then select Subscriptions.
  4. Find CapCut and tap on it.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription at the bottom of the screen and confirm your choice.

Method 3: Canceling on Mac or PC Desktop

Web Browser / Desktop

If you use the robust CapCut desktop client and paid entering a credit card directly via Stripe, you must cancel on their web portal.

  1. Go to capcut.com in your browser and log into your account.
  2. Click your Profile Icon in the top right.
  3. Select Manage Subscription from the dropdown.
  4. Click Turn off auto-renewal or Cancel Plan.
⚠️ A Note on Refunds: CapCut Pro is strictly non-refundable according to ByteDance's Terms of Service. If you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle, you simply retain Pro access until the month (or year) expires.

You shouldn't have to remember your billing host

Was it Apple? Was it Google? Did I use my credit card directly? Trackery logs the specific billing provider for every subscription you own, so you never have to guess where the cancel button is hidden.
